The Making Material Design documentary series was developed for Google’s 2015 I/O conference to highlight the amazing thinkers and designers behind the platform that supports all of Google’s UI. Created in tandem with Googlers from both Mountain View and NYC, this was a perfect example of lean working. Quick, effective creative development and the smart use of resources and budget allowed for a four day bi-coastal shoot and a marathon in-house post process with rockstar editor, Sarah Harvey.  What started out as a single film grew into a content series that inspired designers around the world.

All four pieces premiered during 2015 I/O and lived on google.com/design. This was one of the first film series I produced, so it holds a special place.
